BROOKE HYLAND | DANCER | 14
Brooke was Kelly Hyland’s first born child. She was pampered and made to think the world was hers for the taking. And as soon as she enrolled in the Abby Lee Dance Company, Abby only verified her mother’s words. Abby loved Brooke when the teen was younger. She was Abby’s little acrobat. Full of tricks and giggles. But kids don’t stay kids.
Soon Brooke turned into a teenager. She wanted to hang out with her friends, go to highschool football games, and just time to chill by herself. But Abby didn’t allow it. She urged Brooke to practice harder, and when Brooke rebelled, the woman ridiculed her. Telling her negative things about her body, her attitude, and her talent. Brooke started to doubt herself. And the fourteen year old went from thinking she was unstoppable, to only a top 10 dancer. She grew to accept lower scoring dances, and decided to quit working so hard, for a woman who only wanted winners.
Brooke trys to please Miss. Abby, but she finds it pointless to try to entertain the woman, when all she cares about is the younger girls. Brooke is dreadfully tired of dancing with ten year olds, and she often complains to Kelly about it. Her mother has confronted Abby many a time, but the coach’s only excuse is, ‘Brooke is the girl’s role model.’ An excuse that doesn’t sit too well with Brooke.

KELLY HYLAND | MOTHER | 39
Kelly grew up pampered, and when she was looking for someone to spend the rest of her life with, she knew she wanted someone rich. That’s just what she got when she married Randy Hyland, a wealthy business man with no interest in being fit or handsome. The fact that Randy was so much older than Kelly, made many question weather she only married for money, Abby being one of the key pursuers.
The ditzy brunette immediately knew she wanted children. Her first born Brooke began taking gymnastics, but soon Brooke wanted to try other styles of dancing too. So at age four Brooke started dance at the ALDC, the studio Kelly herself danced at as a child. Soon when Kelly had her first son, she enrolled him in the company too. He only lasted a few years, before succumbing to Abby’s ridiculing. Paige, Kelly’s youngest daughter also took to acrobatics, and she loved dance equally as much.
Kelly’s pre exsisting relationship with Abby constantly threatened Paige and Brooke’s success at the studio. The two adults were constantly bringing up sour memories from their shared childhood, and the girls often cam in between large fights. When Brooke was 10, Kelly left the studio for the summer, only to come back begging the following fall. Kelly loves Abby, and as do her girls, even if neither want to admit it. They share a life long bond that can’t be broken, no matter how bad Kelly wants it gone.

Anonymous: what about accepting? like, the apps you have?
We’ll have to wait 24 hours after out opening day before we can accept any apps. That why everyone who is interested in applying has a chance.
Anonymous: any chance at all you'll open early?
As it looks now, No. I’m getting out 1 to 2 bios a day, and I know this weekend I’ll finish say 6 or 7 more. Then Sunday we’ll try to open, while still updating and adding to the characters.
No requirements really. Just remember to submit your para in third person and spell check it before submitting. I’m much more likely to accept an app with good grammar than one without.
No, as our opening date is September 30th, we will wait until then to accept any early applications.
